Why I picked Medellín, Colombia to start working full-time on my business.

In May 2022, I packed my bags to begin my first ever solo travelling adventure - 3 and a half months in South America.

Just under 2 years later, I’m still fascinated by this beautifully diverse continent. In particular with Colombia, the first country that I visited on that trip.

When I arrived in Medellín I knew almost instantly that this was a place that I really connected with. Something about the warmth of the local people, the way that the city flows through a valley between the mountains and the incredible climate really stood out to me as being extremely unique.

I spent just 1 week in the city, which was nowhere near enough time.

Medellín is the sort of place where no matter how long you plan to stay, it won’t be enough!

Alongside my feelings for the city, Medellín is actually a great place to meet other entrepreneurs and digital nomads. I have already begun reaching out to some communities to make some connections before I arrive - Some of which, may even see this post!
